Two Articles Published in Green Letters (Limited Free Access)
Dear All,
I've recently had two articles published in Green Letters, the journal of the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment, UK and Ireland (ASLE-UKI). Both are on science fiction and environmentalism: the first is on sustainability and science fiction, the second is about Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy, eco-economics, cybernetics and upcycling. They're complementary pieces, and Routledge have given me limited access links to the full text of both articles.
“‘The Goal of Martian Economics Is Not “Sustainable Development” but a Sustainable Prosperity for Its Entire Biosphere’ : Science Fiction and the Sustainability Debate.” Green Letters 19.1 (2015): 36–49. Web.
‘“All Energy Is Borrowed” – Terraforming: A Master Motif for Physical and Cultural Re(Up)Cycling in Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars Trilogy’. Green Letters 18 (2014): 1–13. Web. 2014.
I do hope you'll enjoy them!
All the best,
Chris.
