Interview on Filling Space

Egemen Bezci of the recently launched Filling Space kindly invited me to contribute a short interview to their blog, both of which focus on terraforming and the colonisation of Mars and the solar system. Filling Space describes itself as 'a social enterprise dedicated to popularizing and democratizing human space activity' ('About Us'), and to that end they publish short articles and interviews with researchers working on the technology and infrastructures necessary for space colonisation.

I'm intrigued to see what their plans for fulfilling the second part of their goals, the democratization of space travel, will be. I'll be keeping an eye on the blog to see how they go about what looks to me to be one of the most challenging components of contemporary space colonisation.
